         Sharon M Chamberlain is an artist and a published author. Originally from Eureka, IL, Sharon resides in Peoria where she has her studio. She is the mother of 4 and grandmother to ten children.

         Sharon first studied watercolor with the late JoAnn Bell of Washington in the 70’s. She earned her associates degree from ICC in 1982 specializing in watercolor illustration. She was an award winning art director for major companies in Peoria until 1996 when she became disabled.

         Sharon’s original artworks can be seen at the Washington Fine Arts Festival and the Reagan Fest in Eureka, both in August. Stray Cat Art on Seminary Street in Galesburg and Wasabi on Water Street in Peoria both carry her greeting cards.

Artist Statement: My art, as my very life, has been overcoming obstacles and solving problems creatively.
